Situated within the Northern desert belt, UAE has a tropical desert climate. Summer season, from June to September is extremely hot and humid, with temperature around 106°F (41°C). On the other hand, temperature between November and April in Abu Dhabi is very pleasant. It is mostly around 75°F (24°C), hardly falling below 50°F (10°C) even during the coldest nights.

Rainfall in most of the Emirate is sporadic, with an average of 12 centimeters per year during winters that is from November to March. The winter rains usually take the form of short sharp bursts, which, in particular if stirring in and around the Hajar Mountains run off quickly into wadis and eventually onto the down washed gravel plains.

During the summer season, Shamal– a hot, dry north-westerly wind develops in the coastal region, making it extremely unpleasant. This region is also prone to occasional, violent sandstorms that lead to severely reduced visibility and they may last for several days. So keeping in mind this UAE weather, it is highly recommended that people stay indoor during afternoon that is between 12.00PM and 4PM. This is because it is extremely hot during this time, and people are likely to get a heatstroke if no precaution is taken. It is also recommended that you consume plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

Weather in UAE is characterized by soaring temperature and high levels of humidity, ranging between 50 and 60 percent. They are as high as 90 percent in the summer and autumn season. 

From December to March, the UAE weather remains warm and is considered as most comfortable weather as compared to the rest of the year. It is an ideal time for tourists or visitors who may want to travel to the UAE for a vacation or tour.

What should you wear as per the weather in UAE?

It is advised that you wear lightweight cottons and linens during the summer season in UAE, and warm clothes during cooler evenings and winters.
